What is AIADA Doing for Dealers?

Dealers are busier than ever. AIADA is your seat at the table in our nation’s capital on issues that affect your ability to operate as an international auto dealer. Here are a few areas where we’ve worked on your behalf in recent years:

  • Defeated a proposed 25% border adjustment tax that would have been placed on all imported autos and parts
  • Promoted the interests of our members while key trade agreements – including the USMCA – were under negotiation
  • Testified at hearings on Capitol Hill and at the Department of Commerce regarding the disastrous impact of a 232 investigation into whether imported autos and parts were a national security threat
