Anthony Brownlee to Serve as AIADA’s 2024 Chairman

Press Releases 02/02/24

Alexandria, Va. – The American International Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) has named Wyoming auto dealer Anthony Brownlee as its 2024 chairman. Brownlee, who is the owner of Brownlee Automotive in Castle Rock, Colo., accepted the chairman’s gavel during an AIADA event in Las Vegas on Friday night.

“Building a business in America requires a willingness to innovate, to take chances, and to engage with your lawmakers at every level,” said Brownlee, whose dealership group includes Chevrolet, GMC, and Toyota stores in Powell, Wyo., and a Honda store in Sheridan, Wyo. “Through AIADA, dealers are securing the future of their stores and their employees by making their voices heard in Washington, D.C.”

Brownlee, who in 2019 made history as the first African American car dealer in the state of Wyoming, has said that as AIADA Chairman he wants to prioritize engagement on Capitol Hill and emphasize the non-partisan nature of auto retailing. “Our stores, and our products, are for all Americans,” he told AIADA members. “We need to advocate for policies at the federal level that protect consumer choice and guarantee an even playing field for our brands.”

Brownlee is joined as on officer on the AIADA board of directors by Mike DeSilva, Immediate Past Chairman (Mahwah, N.J.); Valerie Romero, Chairman-elect (Whittier, Calif.); Mike Darrow, Vice Chairman (Menomonee Falls, Wis.); Jessica Germain, Secretary/Treasurer (Dublin, Ohio); and Cody Lusk, AIADA President & CEO (Arlington, Va.).
