House and Senate Offices , Washington, District Of Columbia, United States

More than 200 attendees, representing 38 states, more than 1,300 franchises, and 70,000 employees, visited their lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Thursday, March 9 to voice their opposition to a border adjustment tax proposal (BAT). The visits took place as part of a special Capitol Hill Fly-In hosted by AIADA, which represents America’s 9,500 international nameplate dealership franchises.

Dealers who attended the fly-in were welcomed to Washington, D.C., on Wednesday evening, March 8, with a special dinner featuring political pundit Dr. Charles Krauthammer. His remarks focused on the state of politics in Washington this spring. AIADA briefed dealers on the BAT at a breakfast on Thursday morning that featured insight by Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania and Rep. Jim Renacci of Ohio before they headed to Capitol Hill for an afternoon of meetings with their senators and representatives.

If you missed AIADA's special fly-in focusing on the BAT, you can still take action.
